Restaurants Dim the Lights for Earth Hour
Earth Hour — a 60-minute period during which people across the globe are encouraged to dim their lights for climate change — is set to take place on March 27 at 8:30 p.m. Are you participating in Earth Hour this year, and are you doing anything special to acknowledge the event?

Other restaurants participating in Earth Hour include Bistro Bordeaux; the Evanston restaurant will turn off all electric lights and illuminate its dining room solely by candlelight for 60 minutes. Prairie Fire and Prairie Grass Cafe will both turn off their lights for Earth Hour.
